Meredith was born and raised in the wild wastelands of West Texas. She relocated to Providence in 1998 to pursue a BFA in Ceramics at the Rhode Island School of Design. Along the way, she became a co-founder of PIPS, editor of Crosswalk, instructor of ceramics, mother of beautiful Allegra, sculptor of children, explorer of urban dereliction, and artisan of discarded materials, among other numerous interests and activities. She is currently helping establish a ceramics program at the WVCB’s Steelyard in Providence.
